The Stranger is Fabio Dartizio first collaboration with Madrid-based Multi-disciplinary workshop Factum Arte: the 4.50m-tall bronze sculpture, representing a lightning strike, was commissioned by Societe Generale as part of its wider arts patronage programme to support emerging artists in the UK. The piece has been installed today in the lobby of the new headquartes in One Bank Street, London.
Towards the end of 2019, Societe Generale will be moving its UK headquarters to One Bank Street, London. The art panel composed of Dr Antonia Boström (Victoria & Albert Museum), George Vasey (Wellcome Collection), Sam Wilkinson (Public Art Manager, UCL), Sadia Ricke (Societe Generale) and Lanny Walker (Societe Generale, Curator), named Fabio Dartizio as winner of a foyer sculpture commission.
